The fourth annual IPTV World Forum conference took place at Olympia, London, on March 12-14, 2008.  During the conference, Steven Hawley of Advanced Media Strategies conducted several panels and a video workshop entitled “Video Quality or Bust!”   A PDF version of the full Conference Catalog is still available for download.

At the 2007 IBC (the International Broadcasting Conference) in Amsterdam (Netherlands), Steve Hawley of Advanced Media Strategies interviewed a variety of senior IPTV and broadcast industry executives for De Hoeksteen (The Cornerstone), which was carried over UPC Amsterdam Channel 2 and via the Internet while the conference was in progress.

The 6th Annual TelcoTV Conference was held from October 23-25, 2007, in Atlanta Georgia (Conference Schedule).  As Senior IPTV Analyst for Multimedia Research Group Inc (MRG), Steve Hawley moderated the conference session “Optimizing the TelcoTV Experience,” as well as an IPTV video quality panel at the annual breakfast held by Zhone Technologies; both on October 24.

Telephony Magazine’s IPTV Workshop, at the Fall 2007 VON conference in Boston, included a presentation on IPTV content security, followed by a panel session about the same topic, conducted by Steven Hawley of Advanced Media Strategies.

In January, 2008, Multimedia Research Group Inc (MRG), released a first-of-its-kind 252-page IPTV Test Measurement & Monitoring, (TM&M report, written by Steven Hawley as Senior IPTV Analyst for MRG.

Steve Hawley will be moderating sessions in the conference tracks entitled “DRM: Securing the Future of IPTV” and “Content Production Potpourri” - part of the “Telecom 2008@NAB” conference taking place within the 80th annual conference of the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB Show) on April 16, 2008.
